2012 Art Journal completed!

The first thing i want to post is my completed 2012 art journal.  I love this group and the fact that it takes me out of my comfort level (at times) and how much fun I have getting down and dirty.  I also love how it makes me think.. I mean really think hard about things and what's going on in my life.  I still have this book out b/c i love looking at it and it makes me smile.  In fact, i'm smiling now as i'm typing this.

Here's my completed book - I finished this book a while back but of course I didn't update on it here. :) sorry, my bad.. major bad!  But here is my completed book for A Year in the Life of an Art Journal

Art Journal March 15, 2012

Here's my entry for March 15, 2012.  This was a fun and quick one for me, i dunno why but it was so liberating! :) Here's the skinny on the prompt for this particular day. :)  I just need to do my journaling on this and it's done.  :)   Paper used is 7 Gypsies papers.  I love that paper.  I put a pix i had of Jack Vettriano (love him) and my unicorn that i cut on my Cricut Expression.. I'vc had this cut out since i had my SCAL2! *zoik*, also some stickers i had in my hoard vault, and a sticker journal, and Creme de Chocalat from Tattered angels.  I painted the background blue cuz it's my favorite color.  Inside the pocket is a .10 ticket from Harrahs in New Orleans this past Mardi Gras year.


THE PROMPT: These are a Few of My Favorite Things
THE STUFF: List of your favorite things. ie: fave color, book, coffee creamer, drink, season, flowers... etc.
THE TECHNIQUE: Brown paper ie: "brown paper packages tied up with string" and labels from some of your favorite things

THE TECHNIQUE: silhouettes (can be black, patterned paper, anything goes as long as it's a silhouette)

I got the painting down on this one, but that's as far as i've gotten. LOL
