Shadow box for my Uncle Harvey

I made this shadowbox for my uncle harvey. I hope he likes it. I made another for my Uncle Joe as well. I'll mail this out this week. These layouts came pretty quickly to me. I had to e fmake another copy of this picture b/c it's the only one i have.

The paper is Graphic 45 Le Romantique
The flowers (grey/black are from Sandra) the purple'ish/blue'ish one is the one i made
The flourish is chipboard die cut from TH Alterations die (glimmer misted it w/Scarlet)
Burlap and Prima Canvas for mats in the background
TH items: "B" Alpha grungeboard and ornate bookplate, "hope" Adage ticket, Memo pin
Tattered Angels: Glimmer Chips, Creme de' Cocoa
Misc: Denim (from one of Rick's old Jeans)

Challenge #2 - Scrapbeach

Here's Challenge #2 for The Beach's online crop. I made this for my uncle. The picture is of my (late) dad and my uncle. The layout is going in a shadow box. I'm going to send it to my uncle for my dad's birthday in a couple of weeks. He would've been 63. :( .. .. (actually, i'm going to make another one like this for my other other uncle and send it to me as well).

The second challenge is to make a layout without any fancy pre-made embellishments. You can use cardstock, patterned paper, stamps, ink, paint and all those sorts of goodies, but set aside the Primas!

Here's my submission for this challenge.
The two larger lollipop flowers are not made by me. (Gold flower i bought from Sandra from her etsy. The turquoise flower is made by Irene C. We were in a swap on the beach that Lyla hosted)
The paper flower i made for Lyla's swap.
The hat pins i made. :)
TH: Ornate plates, Grungeboard Alpha "M"
Burlap (rec'd from Sandra in a swap we did in Jan '10)
Prima Canvas -used a background stamp and used GM (i can't remember what color)
Background paper is G45 Le Romantique
I loved this challenge and I've been wanting to do this layout/shadowbox for quite some time. I *KNOW* I wouldn't have done it if i were doing it on my own. It would've been too difficult for me to do.
