Faux Bubblegum Machine

Holy cow this project was fun! Mine is pretty simple compared to everyone else's - but that's okay.  I'm going to make another that's purely for decoration. :)  Here's my project.

I used TH grungeboards for the place where the gumball comes out and where you twist to add coins.  I ddin't have a butterfly twist (i think that's what it's called) - used what i had and I actually like it much better. :)

I used clay pot and two clay lids - I had a hard time with keeping my acrylic paints sticking to the pots even after i've gesso'd it.  So i used Krylon spray paint in gold.  The glass is from WalMart that i got.  I mentioned the sizes of the pot and the lids as well as the glass in my video (below).

Action

Action was the prompt for the A year in the Life of an Art Journal (http://oneyearartjournal.blogspot.com/) This is my take on the topic. I used a cuttlebug embossing folder (forget what this design is called) and embossed a clear sheet (acrylic? one of those plastic thingies that come off the stickers..i forget what they're called, sorry) *rolleyesatme* - anyway, embossed it and used my cricut for the titles Take Action using my printing press cart. I put the "take" on the acrylic thin plastic sheet and also a Heidi Swapp black label chipboards. I used the positive and negative for this. I also used Tim Holtz's grungeboard of the "40" and journaled the page. The journal book i'm using is from SU board book - it's the small one.

Sorry the picture quailty sucks, i'll try and take a better pix tomorrow.
