This a cigar box i made for my FreeSpirit Secret Sister on Facebook.  The cigar box I received from my daughter's work.  She works at the gift shop at the Indian Casino and she gets them for free! 

 I made this for my partner - i believe she doesn't follow my blog, so i'm safe to post these pictures.  This was a fun process and i really hope she likes it, because she said she likes pink so I had to add pink and then it didn't come out right and tried to fix it but i ruined it.  I used baby wipes to try and "fix" what went wrong.  Let it dry and added gesso to it and walked away... I had to walk away.

My altered tile took a while.  I used pink on it -- I had to consciencously use pink b/c I didn't use pink on alot of her items.  I sorta forgot about what my sister liked and went with my mojo - after I had completed most of my projects I got REALLY nervous that she won't like it.  Especially, after I asked a question on the FB page and posted a pix and she didn't respond to it.. :/ *sigh*  I have half the mind to 'start' all over again.  I really do -- maybe i'll make another one.. I'm not sure - we'll see though. :)

sidebar: I also have to admit, that i didn't think i had any 'pretty' pink papers until I started to break out my SCAL2 and started to make a teacup from SVG site.  I found some papers that I thought she might like and it looks great! :) who knows,,, I may just do that.. We'll see.
