My altered teacup for my FSS Swap

I made this altered teacup for my April/May FSS Swap - i'm so late but we were extended an extra week and it's my 2nd set of tea cups... :) My first set of tea cups came out WRONG.. all wrong.. Not what i had envisioned.. AT ALL! :s

I found these cups on Monday at GoodWill for $2.00 and the plate for $1.00.  I'm glad the plates weren't group together like all the other plates over there.

As you can see, this altered tea cup doesn't look anything like the box.. So outside my element, but the cups made it easy to embellish.
